Sakura Festival 2005

These photographs were taken April 9 and 10, 2005 and show SomeYoshino species of Sakura, Cherry Blossoms, show some of the trees that bloomed during that period. This year the 600 Cherry Trees in Sakura New Town were in full bloom Saturday, April 9, the winds of Sunday left the Sakura petals falling like snow, resulting in only about 40% of blooms remaining. The Rains and winds of Monday, April 11 just about finished off the spectacular blooms this year.
